Every change to the rules that produce a number, and every decision about which ballots count. A figure that cannot be traced back to the rules that made it is not a figure this site is willing to publish, so the rules are dated here and each entry names the model version it was filed under.

Cleared the raw IP addresses held against every existing ballot. The application now stores only a keyed hash of the address, alongside a keyed session hash, and clears the address half after 35 days.

Excluded 4 launch-day verification ballots from 16 July 2026 and 1 ballot cast on 13 September 2026 by an automated research agent. Excluded ballots are kept, counted separately and shown beside the counted totals; removing an exclusion makes a ballot count again.

Published scoring model v1.0: HoC Score is the celebrate share minus the hate share over the trailing 30 UTC days of counted ballots, with an Agresti-Coull adjusted-Wald counting interval, tiers at 10, 100 and 1,000 counted ballots, and the board's default order shrunk toward zero by n/(n+100).

Scoring model v1.0 takes effect with day 1 of the daily. A reading is published at 10 counted ballots, a rank at 100, and a subject is called established at 1000. Every reading covers a trailing 30 day window, and the figure printed after a score is a counting interval rather than a margin of error.

One ballot cast on 13 September 2026 is excluded. It was cast by an automated research agent that drove the site's own single-key voting shortcut, which was bound to the whole document rather than to the ballot, so a key press with nothing focused recorded a verdict. The redesigned ballot scopes the shortcut to the ballot and gives it an off switch.

The four ballots cast on launch day, 16 July 2026, are excluded. They were cast while the site was being tested in public and they were tests rather than opinions. The rows stay in the table, and the excluded count is printed beside the counted count wherever a total appears.
An exclusion is a disclosure, not a deletion. Nothing is removed from the table: an excluded ballot keeps its row, and removing its id from this list makes it count again. What follows is what the database holds at the moment this page was rendered.
