Borrowed work

Everything on this page is somebody else's work, used under a licence that asks for credit. A site that will not print a figure it cannot source should not be vague about the pictures and the letterforms either.

Emoji

They are stored in this site's own files as SVG rather than drawn from the reader's operating system. An emoji rendered by the device is a different picture on every phone, and a subject card that looks different to everyone is a bad card and an unreproducible share image.

What is not here

No stock photography, and no photograph without a licence, an author and a source.
No icon font and no third-party chart library. The bars are drawn in CSS.
No tracking script that runs before consent.

A figure set in a proportional face changes width as it rolls, which is why the numbers here are monospaced. Where the layout has not loaded this face, the record style falls back to your system monospace stack and keeps its tabular figures.

Parts of the plumbing are shared internal packages rather than anything written for this site alone.

@baldwin/analytics: Consent-gated analytics, off until consent is given.
@baldwin/ads: The ad slot wrapper, likewise consent-gated.
@baldwin/i18n: Locale loading for the interface strings.
@baldwin/hub-keys: Credential resolution, so no key is written into this repository.

The rules those parts follow are on the privacy page, since two of them touch what a reader's browser stores.
