Reading history
One point per day, each of them the 30-day window ending that day. A day with no snapshot is a gap in the line, never a line drawn through it.
History starts when seven daily snapshots exist with a reading.
Daily snapshots with a reading so far: 0. A snapshot is written once a day and carries a reading only once the subject has ten counted ballots in the window.

A quarantined or excluded ballot is recorded and not counted, and nothing is ever deleted: releasing one makes it count again. The excluded figure is site-wide because the exclusion list stores a ballot id, a reason and a date, and not a subject, so a per-subject figure would be a guess. How exclusions work.

Why people split
Overalls are described in literature as early as 1776 as protective working garments, and mass manufacture began in the 1890s when Levi Strauss and Jacob Davis sold waist overalls under the slogan Never Rip, Never Tear. The modern bib-and-brace shape dates to 1911, when Harry David Lee added a chest panel and shoulder straps; Lee's added zippers and belt loops by 1927. Through the Depression the garment became a marker of working-class identity among farmers, miners and railroad workers. It crossed into fashion twice, among American youth from the 1960s onward and again through 1990s hip hop, and is now sold by luxury labels. That double life is what the polling picks up. YouGov finds only 1% of Americans do not recognise overalls, the lowest non-recognition score in the survey, yet opinion still splits 39% positive to 25% negative. Near-universal familiarity has not produced agreement about whether the garment is workwear, nostalgia or clothing.
