Your verdict
One ballot per browser per day, counted the moment it lands. This is the same ballot and the same dedupe as the daily card; there is no second, weaker vote path on this page.

Reading history
One point per day, each of them the 30-day window ending that day. A day with no snapshot is a gap in the line, never a line drawn through it.
History starts when seven daily snapshots exist with a reading.
Daily snapshots with a reading so far: 0. A snapshot is written once a day and carries a reading only once the subject has ten counted ballots in the window.

A quarantined or excluded ballot is recorded and not counted, and nothing is ever deleted: releasing one makes it count again. The excluded figure is site-wide because the exclusion list stores a ballot id, a reason and a date, and not a subject, so a per-subject figure would be a guess. How exclusions work.

Why people split
For about a decade the practice sat in a space where the companies knew about it, tolerated it and sometimes joked about it, so no norm ever had to be settled. Roughly one in three subscribers shared an account with another household. Terms of service always said otherwise: accounts were personal, non-commercial and household-limited. But the clause went unenforced, and an unenforced rule teaches nobody what is acceptable. That changed from 2022, when Netflix began restricting access by IP address to identify out-of-household use, then introduced paid options to add people and moved to end free sharing altogether. The legal position was never as vague as the social one: in the UK, sharing credentials for a streaming service without authorisation is treated as copyright infringement. The polling, taken in April 2022 as the enforcement wave began, catches the norm mid-argument: 36% say it is fine, 42% say it is not, and an unusually large 22% say they are not sure, which is what a question looks like before a society has agreed on the answer.
