Reading history
One point per day, each of them the 30-day window ending that day. A day with no snapshot is a gap in the line, never a line drawn through it.
History starts when seven daily snapshots exist with a reading.
Daily snapshots with a reading so far: 0. A snapshot is written once a day and carries a reading only once the subject has ten counted ballots in the window.

A quarantined or excluded ballot is recorded and not counted, and nothing is ever deleted: releasing one makes it count again. The excluded figure is site-wide because the exclusion list stores a ballot id, a reason and a date, and not a subject, so a per-subject figure would be a guess. How exclusions work.

Why people split
YouGov's 2023 survey separated virtual-meeting behaviours into two kinds. Some are settled: majorities of Americans said having music or a TV playing in the background, smoking, vaping and eating a full meal are unacceptable in any meeting. Snacks are not settled. Only 12% of Americans said eating a snack on camera is fine in any meeting, but 38% said it is fine in informal ones. So for roughly half the country the answer depends entirely on who else is on the call. Britain produced almost the same shape, at 9% and 39%. The size of that 'depends' group is what makes this an argument rather than a rule: two people can each be behaving correctly by their own standard and still irritate each other, because neither knows which kind of meeting the other thinks they are in. Age supplies the rest of the split. In Britain, 53% of 18-24s said a snack is acceptable at least in informal meetings, against 24% of those 65 and over.
