Reading history
One point per day, each of them the 30-day window ending that day. A day with no snapshot is a gap in the line, never a line drawn through it.
History starts when seven daily snapshots exist with a reading.
Daily snapshots with a reading so far: 0. A snapshot is written once a day and carries a reading only once the subject has ten counted ballots in the window.

A quarantined or excluded ballot is recorded and not counted, and nothing is ever deleted: releasing one makes it count again. The excluded figure is site-wide because the exclusion list stores a ballot id, a reason and a date, and not a subject, so a per-subject figure would be a guess. How exclusions work.

Why people split
Snoozing is not mainly about laziness. A study of smartphone and wearable data published in the journal SLEEP in 2022, led by Stephen Mattingly at the University of Notre Dame, found 57% of participants were habitual snoozers, that women were about 50% more likely to snooze than men, and that self-described night owls snoozed more often. The odd finding was that snoozers and non-snoozers got the same total amount of sleep, and snoozers were no more likely to nap or to report feeling tired. Mattingly's explanation is sleep inertia: an alarm cuts across the body's own waking process, so the first minutes after it sounds are genuinely groggy whether or not you are short on sleep. He also argues that so many people snooze because so many people are chronically tired. Participants who were allowed to wake without an alarm slept longer and drank less caffeine.
