Reading history
One point per day, each of them the 30-day window ending that day. A day with no snapshot is a gap in the line, never a line drawn through it.
History starts when seven daily snapshots exist with a reading.
Daily snapshots with a reading so far: 0. A snapshot is written once a day and carries a reading only once the subject has ten counted ballots in the window.

A quarantined or excluded ballot is recorded and not counted, and nothing is ever deleted: releasing one makes it count again. The excluded figure is site-wide because the exclusion list stores a ballot id, a reason and a date, and not a subject, so a per-subject figure would be a guess. How exclusions work.

Why people split
This is a live generational shift rather than a settled preference. Britons split almost exactly on whether the first syllable of 'schedule' is 'shed' (42%) or 'sked' (48%), and the split runs along age. Seventy percent of 18-24 year olds say 'sked-ule' against 29% of over-65s, and the same gradient shows up in every other pronunciation YouGov tested: 'adver-tize-ment' over 'advert-iss-ment' (77% vs 35%), 'nee-ther' over 'nye-ther' (68% vs 33%), 'wroth' over 'wrath' (80% vs 49%). What sounds to an older Briton like an American import sounds to a younger one like the ordinary way to say the word, usually because they met it first in American film, television and software rather than from an older relative. Spelling has barely moved by comparison (98% still write 'colour', 93% 'grey', 92% 'jewellery'), which is why pronunciation is where the argument actually happens.
